Logging Supervisor (Field) Exploration - An Oil & Gas Operation Company
An Oil & Gas Operation Company is seeking for qualified Sudanese candidates to fill in the following vacancy
Logging Supervisor (Field) Exploration
Job Description
Ensures that field operations are carried out in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
Provides an on-site geological analysis during well drilling to support the well programme in meeting its geological objectives
Ensures the execution of logging programmes, interpretation of litho logy and drilling fluid condition
Calculates & records monthly rate cost for mud logging and wire line logging (cost control) and prepares a chronological reports for each jobControls the quality of logging carried out by the contractors; approves the logs, performs well site interpretation to assist in best decision making with regard to the progress of the well programme
Ensures that all specialized geological operations (such as SWC, Coring job, horizontal drilling) are carried out successfully in assigned well
Job requirements
B.Scin Geology
Exp 6 years experience in well-site geology, sub-surface geology and logging
Requirements
Applicants should obtain the following General Requirements:
Good English language including reporting ability (verbal and written)
Computer literacy
Completion of National Service
