Responsible for accounts payable of Construction projects by validating invoices and authorizing payments

Job Description

To assist the Senior Accountant in preparing and maintaining appropriate books of accounts for recording transactions carried out for Construction Company
To carry out cash transactions and record appropriate entries in books of accounts. Remove / deposit cash in bank as per requirements. Regulate flow of cash as per directions of the senior accountant
To assist senior accountant in managing customers accounts and ensure effective receivables management. Ensure timely collection of payments from all the customers /clients within due dates
To prepare payments to suppliers, vendors, contractors as per pre-decided schedule through cheques or wire transfer as per directions of the senior accountant

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a reputed university with Accounting major
2-4 years of experience in Construction industry
