An Oil & Gas Operation Company is seeking for qualified Sudanese candidates to fill in the following vacancy
Electric & Instrument Technician (Field) Pipeline Operations
Job Description
Carries out repairs on a variety of electrical equipmentIncluding trouble shooting, obtaining necessary supplies parts and tools, repairing or replacing defective parts, testing and handing over to the user
Uses a variety of testing and measuring devices and equipment such as voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter and avometer to test wiring systemsEnsures that safety devices are properly installed and that repairs have been carried out in conformity with statutory and company regulations
Carries out the removal, stripping, cleaning, repairing, overhauling and reassembling of major electrical equipment under supervisionParticipates in the testing and starting up of overhauled equipment
Performs other similar or related duties such as maintaining records of preventive maintenance carried out on electrical equipment, observing fire and safety regulations, etc
Job requirements
B.Sc In Electrical Engineering
Exp 0-3 years of experience in E&I
Requirements
Applicants should obtain the following General Requirements:
Good English language including reporting ability (verbal and written)
Computer literacy
Completion of National Service
