MTN - Intelligent Network Engineer

Job Mission
Role Holders will follow established covered by well defined procedures, covered by specialized or technical standards. their work will be checked for quality and quantity

KPA Duties
Platform Monitoring
Daily Reports extraction
Investigate the technical incidents that are reported mainly by the Customers (Customer Care)
Insure the quality of all products provided by the IN in term of performance and charging accuracy
Implementation of Marketing Demands as requested by the Line Manager
Generate specific reports
Daily IN administrative Tasks
SS7 system configuration
Check up and maintain the platform operational states
Follow up the new batches and features installed by the Vendor in the IN platform
System & Service trouble shooting
Work within defined systems and processes and identify opportunities to enhance the current system
Backup of IN Services and databases
Voucher Center monitoring and troubleshooting
New entities and/or services testing
Charging matrices definition and modification

Educational Requirements
University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant degree

Experience Required
Working experience in relevant field is a privilege

Skils Required

Knowledge with at least one of the UNIX flavors (SUN ,AIX or Linux … etc)

Knowledge or experience with Shell scripting
Knowledge or experience in application development
IT literacy
Excellent knowledge with SQL
Good command of English (writing & Oral)
Computer literacy
Relationships management skills
Proven communication skills including tact and diplomacy
Strong planning ability and organizational skills
Good analytical skills
Preferred knowledge in Telecommunication preferably GSM
