Business Unit: Zain Sudan Division: Corporate Communications
Location: Sudan - Khartoum Closing Date: 12-Apr-2011
Basic Information
To effectively manage, represent, and coordinate all Zain Sudan corporate communications and public relations in line with the company's values, the image of the company, and to enhance employee engagement.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure that the company's corporate communications are in alignment with and help promote overall company strategy and direction in a creative and visionary manner
To manage and support communication and public relations activities to promote Zain values and to enhance the company's public image and give the company a competitive edge
To ensure that effective communication processes and techniques are used to provide Zain Sudan with a sound, well managed corporate communication process
Ensure ongoing liaison and support to the various Sectors in order for them to carry out their functions more effectively in a co-ordinate manner
To identify opportunities for the MD or Officers of Zain Sudan for speaking engagements and public relations opportunities on a proactive basis
To ensure that all departments are involved, informed and briefed about corporate events and that their precise event requirements are taken into account
Liaise with the Corporate Communications Director and his team to organize coverage of events by various media outlets (eg:TV,Radio,Magazines..etc)i
To work closely with different department on developing company profile (written, visual, audio)i
Manage the company's corporate communications budget and ensure optimal use of company resources
Draw up and identify innovative ways of enhancing and promoting the corporate image both internally and externally in line with Zain Brand guidelines.
Maintain an effective relationship with external media agencies to ensure that we have their support and cooperation
To manage, control and develop the Zain corporate communications staff and to ensure that they function effectively as a cohesive team
Insure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security

Competencies & Qualifications
B.Sc in relevant discipline
From 5-7 working years of experience in relevant field
Highly developed organization & planning skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
High personal standards and goal oriented
Strong coaching and influencing skills
Excellent communications skills both orally and in writing in Arabic & English languages
