Chief Accountant - CTC Group

Location: Khartoum
To handle core accounting processes and financial reporting within Digitech in order to report figures to senior management by presenting quarterly and annual financial and MIS statements and reports in accord approved company policies and processes

Job Description

TPrepare financial statements and MIS reports in order to finalize the group financial statements and ensure timely submission to the company’s auditors
Control and review customer invoices; follow up collection with operations and customer departments and book related entries into the system to ensure the system is updated at all time
Process the monthly salary payroll and any benefits in accordance with the payroll procedures and guidelines to ensure payments are made on time
Control and review purchase order payments so that vendors are paid within the credit period. Process payments for this purpose
Book related entries into the system to ensure the system is updated at all time
Allocate the proportionate amount of fixed asset to be depreciated according to the company policy for each cost centre in the system and ensure that the asset depreciation has been posted accurately by the system in line with the depreciation schedule

Qualifications

University degree in Accounting or Finance
10 years of experience
