The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), an impartial, neutral and independent organisation striving to protect and assist the victims of war and internal violence, has been working in Sudan since 1978The ICRC is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for the following position to be based in Alfashir IT Technician II

Main Responsibilities
Installs, updates and maintains IT/Telecom setup of ICRC office in Al Fashir
Performs IT Help Desk tasks respecting deadlines and giving adequate priority
Follows procedures related to IT inventory, movements of IT equipment and to keep the IT inventory up to date
Reports tasks and shares technical and historical knowledge within the team following IT documenting procedures
Knows and respects ICT policies, procedures and standards.
May have to do support and missions to other sites (sub offices etc)

Minimum Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor Degree or equivalent higher education degree in IT, computer science, electronics or similar fieldPost Graduate or Master Degree is an asset
5-7 years of experience in IT, electronics or any similar position
Fluent in English and Arabic
Expert level in computer skills
Skilled in the following competencies Adapting & Learning; Planning, Organization & Assessment; Communication (Ability to express views and ideas); Analysis & Synthesis
Have a good knowledge on the following ICT domains PC hardware and software, networking, telephony, radios, satellite systems, helpdesk, inventory management
